Abstract
THIS ANALYSIS WAS CONDUCTED TO DETERMINE THE FEASIBILITY AND DESIREABILITY OF FORMULATION OF A NEW SET OF RULES FOR OFFENDERS UNDER COMMUNITY SUPERVISION. A SHORT COMMENTARY AND CONCLUSIONS ARE PRESENTED FOR EACH RULE OR GROUPING OF RULES WHICH HAVE SEPARATE HEADINGS IN THE OFFICIAL UNITED NATIONS VERSION OF THE STANDARD MINIMUM RULES. FOR THE INITIAL DRAFT OF THIS ANALYSIS, SEE NCJ-016770.
