Abstract
POINTS CONSIDERED IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE VIEW OF THE POLICE AS A POLITICAL SUBCULTURE ARE THE CONCEPT OF THE NON-ETHNIC MINORITY, THE CONCEPT OF THE POLICE AS A MINORITY, THE CHARACTERISTICS OF RIGHT-WING GROUPS TO DETERMINE IF THEY CAN BE CONCEPTUALIZED AS A MINORITY IN ANY MEANINGFUL SOCIOLOGICAL SENSE, AND THE POLICE AS A RIGHT-WING POLITICAL GROUP. A NUMBER OF RECENT POLICE POLITICAL ACTIVITIES ARE BRIEFLY DESCRIBED AND EVALUATED.
