Abstract
THE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE GRANT WAS FUNDED BY LEAA AND COVERED SIX AREAS: CONTINUED OPERATION OF THE INFORMATION CENTER ON STANDARDS AND GOALS; A PROVISION FOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE; PREPARATION OF THE BROCHURE 'HOW TO DIAGNOSE WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM IN YOUR STATE AND WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT'; DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION OF A TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE WORKSHOP; DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION OF A WORKSHOP FOR BAR PRESIDENTS AND BAR EXECUTIVES; AND CONVENING OF THE JOINT ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON STANDARDS AND GOALS. THE EVALUATION FOUND THAT THE INFORMATION FUNCTION WAS EFFECTIVELY ADMINISTERED, AND THAT THERE WERE INDICATIONS OF GOOD IMPACT.
