Abstract
It discusses the supreme and district courts, the surrogate court, the provincial court, and the family and juvenile courts. Duties of the Gaming Control Section, the Civil Law Section, the Office of Administration, the Financial Services Branch, the Personnel Office, the Records and Information Division, and other offices of the department are described. The report also discusses agencies associated with the department, such as the Crime Compensation Board and the Legal Aid Society of Alberta. Court caseload statistics, budget information, and other data are supplied. Tables, organizational charts, a map, and an appendix listing acts administered by the attorney general are included.
