IT IS THE TRADITIONAL RIGHT OF FREE AMERICANS TO OWN AND BEAR HANDGUNS; THE REGISTRATION AND CONFISCATION OF GUNS ARE INEFFECTIVE SOLUTIONS TO RISING CRIME RATES; THERE IS NO RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CRIME RATES AND GUN CONTROL.
Abstract
CRIMINALS WILL OBTAIN GUNS ANYWAY BECAUSE THEY ARE IN THE BUSINESS OF BREAKING LAWS. A POSSIBLE SOLUTION MIGHT BE TO SENTENCE MORE HARSHLY THOSE OFFENDERS WHO USED GUNS TO COMMIT THEIR CRIMES.
