Abstract
A sample letter is included in the packet to ask for support for Victim Rights from the local governor, as well as the names and addresses of the governors of the United States. A proclamation for the governor to sign is provided. Bulletins on legislative advocacy and criminal victimization are part of the packet. Suggested programs and activities are included, such as speeches, sunrise and memorial services, and radiothons. Sample press releases and quotations for the media are given. Pamphlets on speechmaking and educating the public on victim rights are provided.
