This Annual Report features data on and descriptions of the training and technical assistance (TTA) resources provided by the U.S. Justice Department’s Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) through its TTA Provider Network and National Training and Technical Assistance Center (NTTAC) for FY 2021 (October 2020 through September 2021).
OJJDP’s NTTAC is the facilitator of TTA services and resources on OJJDP’s behalf. It directly supports the field by brokering TTA requests, managing the use of web-based platforms such as TTA360, providing marketing and outreach support to providers, and operating virtual learning and information-sharing platforms to support OJJDP and its TTA providers. OJJDP dispenses funding to organizations to provide TTA resources and services. These organizations compose OJJDP’s TTA Network, which is composed of 33 organizations from across the nation. These organizations managed 50 grant-funded projects in FY 2021, which served the child-protection and juvenile-justice fields. This Annual Report provides information and data on TTA collaboration, TTA services provided to the field, the delivery of virtual TTA, the TTA Help Desk, and resource dissemination and social media. Examples are provided of products the OJJDP TTA Network has developed. 4 figures
