This article discusses a new publication containing information on body-worn camera technology. The publication, Body-Worn Cameras for Criminal Justice: Market Survey was produced by the Sensor, Surveillance, and Biometric Technologies Center of Excellence (SSBT CoE). Information in the publication provides assistance to law enforcement agencies interested in implementing body-worn camera technology. The report looks at numerous devices and summarizes their features, providing the same information in the same way and using the same units of measure for 18 commercially available devices. Information on more than 20 different topics and features of the devices was obtained from vendors. The report is available for download from the NLECTC Web site.
