This Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) solicitation overview provides information for potential applicants for applications for FY 2024 Smart Prosecution – Innovative Prosecution Solutions funding. State and local prosecutorial agencies, Native American tribal governments that perform prosecution functions, and tribal consortia consisting of two or more federally recognized Indian tribes acting as a fiscal agent for one or more prosecutor agencies are eligible to apply. Successful applicants will receive funding to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of prosecutors’ policies, processes, and procedures; provide modern technology to better manage and track cases; and pursue and implement practices that better administer justice to communities. BJA encourages agencies that have not previously received BJA funding and convening or governing bodies that can apply on behalf of one or more entities to apply.
