The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) of the Office of Justice Programs (OJP) invites applications for the FY 2024 Local Law Enforcement Crime Gun Intelligence Center Integration Initiative. State, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies, as well as governmental non-law enforcement agencies are eligible to apply. Successful applicants will receive funding to establish Crime Gun Intelligence Centers, in collaboration with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, to utilize intelligence, technology, and community engagement to identify crime guns and their sources, and then prosecute the perpetrators. BJA encourages applications from agencies that have not previously received BJA funding and convening or governing bodies that can apply on behalf of one or more entities. The solicitation also includes tips for success and information about how and when to apply.
