This guide outlines the steps and provides tips that assist applicants in completing their application for a U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) grant.
The first step pertains to actions that potential applicants should take before applying for a DOJ funding opportunity. The second step involves actions related to applying for a grant through the website Grants.gov. The third step consists of applicant actions regarding entity “onboarding” and JustGrants (software that facilitates applying for a grant). Separate actions are outlined for entities without a JustGrants account and those with an existing JustGrants account. The fourth step explains actions required in completing an application in JustGrants. The fifth and final step involves applicant actions in reviewing, certifying, and submitting the application in JustGrants. Online access is provided to six other resources that aid in applying for a DOJ grant.
