This brief report presents findings on the rate of nonfatal carjacking victimization from 1995 to 2021, based on data from BJS’s National Crime Victimization Survey. It also shows trend estimates of nonfatal carjacking victimizations and provides data on characteristics of carjackings and demographics of carjacking victims.
