The Child Advocacy Center of Lapeer County, in commemoration of National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW), April 7-13, 2019, is hosting a Candlelight Vigil to raise awareness about crime victims issues and rights and introduce the community to the important resources and services available.
The Child Advocacy Center of Lapeer County will be honoring victims of all crimes through empowering stories from survivors at a Candlelight Vigil held on Thursday, April 11, 2019, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Historical Courthouse in Downtown Lapeer.
There will also be an open mic opportunity for any additional victims who would like to honor their past through their story and a moment of silence to commemorate victims of all crimes.
