Every April, the Office of Victims of Crime (OVC) helps lead communities throughout the country in their annual observances of National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW) by promoting victims' rights and honoring crime victims and those who advocate on their behalf. This year, NCVRW will be commemorated April 19-25, 2020. This year's theme is Seek Justice | Ensure Victims' Rights | Inspire Hope.
This year, Homicide Survivors honors NCVRW with a Virtual Candlelight Vigil from 7:00-8:00 p.m.
We know the healing power of coming together as a community, lighting a candle and saying the name of our loved one. That is why this special event remains one of Homicide Survivors' annual traditions.
This is a free event and all are welcome to attend!
