This webinar will provide details for potential applicants to the Bureau of Justice Assistance's (BJA) FY24 Reimagining Justice: Testing a New Model of Community Safety solicitation. The presenter will discuss the purpose and goals of the funding opportunity, review eligibility requirements, and address frequently asked questions. A Q&A session will conclude this webinar.
With this solicitation, BJA seeks to support the development and testing of new or innovative approaches to improving community safety and trust that are alternatives to traditional enforcement mechanisms for neighborhoods experiencing high rates of less serious and low level criminal offenses.
To use the time most efficiently, BJA encourages participants to review the solicitation and submit any questions in advance and no later than May 20, 2024. Submit questions to grants@ncjrs.gov with the subject “Questions for BJA FY 2024 Reimagining Justice: Testing a New Model of Community Safety Webinar.”
