Community practitioners continue to seek better ways to incorporate trauma-informed practices and policies in systems that are built to provide safety, healing, and justice.
This two-part webinar series will explore how a survivor's ability to access services can be affected by the intersections of trauma, bias, violence, and other identities.
Participants will learn about the impact of culture on an individual's trauma and healing; how language, food, customs, status, spiritual beliefs, and other cultural lived realities can impact in an individual's experience of violence and trauma.
The second part of the webinar will be held on December 10, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. ET.
