This event is being provided by the Bureau of Justice Assistance’s Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and Substance Abuse Program and is in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Building on the momentum of local efforts, national experts will discuss the convergence of Overdose Fatality Review (OFR) and Public Health and Safety Team (PHAST). Successful local efforts unifying OFR and PHAST will be highlighted with an opportunity for participants to ask questions and engage.
In addition, new and upcoming initiatives will be unveiled to support your local community in continuing to develop policy and practices to reduce overdose deaths while informing national standards.
