This publication provides card, column, and coding information for the 70-item questionnaire examining public attitudes toward deviant behavior.
Abstract
The study population included 1,993 respondents 15 years old and above in New Jersey, Oregon, and Iowa. Questionnaire items and coding information pertain to demographic and socioeconomic characteristics of respondents, their perceptions of the likelihood of being caught and punished for a variety of minor offenses, self-reported deviance, and other topics related to deviance and social norms.
