DISCUSSED ARE THE LAWS RELATING TO MANUFACTURER LIABILITY FOR PRODUCT SAFETY AND PRODUCT LIABILITY PREVENTION; THE RISK-UTILITY THEORY OF PRODUCT PERFORMANCE STANDARDS; AND THE GUIDELINES ON WHICH TECHNOLOGICAL EXPERTS SHOULD BASE THEIR CONCLUSIONS REGARDING STANDARDS OF PRODUCT PERFORMANCE WHEN GIVING TESTIMONY IN PRODUCT LIABILITY CASES.
