This report presents juvenile justice statistics from Cataluna, a region of Spain, from 1986 to 1991.
Abstract
A graph represents absolute juvenile offender numbers by type of offense by year. It is recommended that, because of differing statistical gathering methods and a 1991 constitutional change, no comparison be made between the years 1989 and 1991, although statistics are given for both those years. Statistics are given by sex of juvenile offender by court, by recidivism, and by first offense by sentence. First offense by age of juvenile offender by sex by court is also listed.
