Abstract
Readers are urged to spend a few days practicing the maneuvers described so that they can handle the vehicle properly if an attack occurs. Recommendations on suitable vehicles note the importance of reliability, power, and ease of handling and note that the maneuvers are unsuitable for vehicles such as jeeps, which have a tendency to tip over during turns. Modifications which can enhance a vehicle's reliability and performance or can serve as deterrents to an attack are described. General security precautions to reduce the probability of an attack are listed, as are methods of determining whether a person or vehicle is under surveillance. Instructions are given for making a variety of maneuvers, including cornering, the bootlegger's turn, the moonshiner's turn, ramming, and running another vehicle off the road. Techniques to use in chase situations are also listed. A suggested training schedule, diagrams illustrating each technique, and a list of six references are provided.
