Law enforcement officers in a leadership and supervisory position are influencers within their agencies. Duty, empowerment, responsibility, ownership, and accountability are important concepts that they must demonstrate and encourage in the people they lead. During this highly interactive training, officers will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, strategies, and best practices and create individualized action plans.
This training is only open to currently sworn law enforcement officers in a supervisory capacity (first- or second-line supervisors) whose primary role is managing and monitoring the health and performance of people.
A National Suicide Awareness for Law Enforcement Officers (SAFLEO) training certificate will be available at the conclusion of the event.
