Center for Victim Research Virtual Institute: Using Trauma Research to Inform Victim Services (Webinar)

This free online event is designed for victim service providers and victim researchers. The event will feature:

-Live and recorded sessions from top researchers and practitioners
-Opportunities to connect with peers
-Resources for victim service provides

Topics Include:

-Adverse events, traumatic stress, and health
-Trauma in the lives of young black men
-Historical trauma
-Vicarious trauma
-Trauma, resilience, and strength identification

There will be an opening live session on Monday, August 5 which will start at 2 p.m. Eastern. During the live session, attendees will be able to ask the presenter questions and participate in any interactive components. Once the live session ends, all recorded sessions will be available for viewing. There will be a live closing session on Friday, August 9 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern.

Throughout the week, you will be able to converse with presenters and other attendees through various discussion forums and live Twitter chats.
