DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE TO HOLD NATIONAL AMBER ALERT SYMPOSIUM IN TAMPA, FL

       WASHINGTON - The Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs (OJP) is sponsoring the 2009 National AMBER Alert Symposium, October 27 - 29, in Tampa, FL. The symposium will offer critical and informative training sessions for law enforcement officials, state AMBER Alert coordinators, Missing Children State Clearinghouse Directors, transportation officials, broadcasters, and the media. The following sessions are open to the media. Please consult the accompanying agenda for a complete listing of open sessions.
