Abstract
THESE CHARACTERISTICS ARE CORRELATED WITH SIX FORMS OF THEFT: PETTY THEFT, SHOPLIFTING, USE OF STOLEN GOODS, DAMAGED PROPERTY, LARCENY, AND BREAKING AND ENTERING. THE STUDY WAS BASED ON A QUESTIONNAIRE ADMINISTERED TO A SAMPLE OF ILLINOIS YOUTH AGED 14 THROUGH 18.
