A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE LIFE-SYTLE ONE MAY LIVE AS A RESIDENT OF SYNANON FOUNDATION, INC., DESCRIBING THE TYPES OF SERVICES AND BENEFITS OFFERED TO THE RESIDENTS.
Abstract
THE SYNANON APPROACH IS DESCRIBED AS AN APPROACH IN CHANGING THE LIFESTYLE OF AN INDIVIDUAL RATHER THAN STAMPING AN INDIVIDUAL AS CURED OR REHABILITATED. EXAMPLES OF RELATIONSHIPS WITH VARIOUS AGENCIES INVOLVED WITH THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM ARE ALSO DESCRIBED. THE HISTORY OF SYNANON IS DESCRIBED FROM ITS INFANCY TO ITS PRESENT STATE AS A MULTI-FACETED, MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR ORGANIZATION. THE UNIQUENESS OF THE SYNANON GAME IS GIVEN CREDIT FOR THESE DEVELOPMENTS. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED)
