MORE THAN 750 CASES REPORTED TO THE CORONER WERE ANALYZED TO OBTAIN OTHER MEANS OF DIFFERENTATION BETWEEN NATURAL AND DELIBERATE CAUSES OF DEATH.
Abstract
THE AUTHOR DISCOVERED THAT MOST FEMALES USED SEDATIVES AND THAT THE MAJORITY OF THEM WERE FOUND DEAD AT HOME, PRINCIPALLY IN THEIR BEDROOM IN EITHER NIGHT ATTIRE OR INDOOR CLOTHING. YOUNG AND MIDDLE AGED SUBJECTS GENERALLY RESORT TO SEDATION, THUS THEY ARE PREDOMINANTLY EITHER IN BEDROOM OR LIVING ROOM, AND AGAIN USUALLY MORE FEMALES THAN MALES. ELDERLY SUBJECTS USE METHODS OTHER THAN SEDATIVES, HENCE THEY ARE GENERALLY SEEN IN PLACES OTHER THAN BEDROOM AND USUALLY IN OUTDOOR CLOTHING. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT)
