THIS REPORT DISCUSSES THE GRAND JURY'S INVESTIGATIVE FUNCTION, PARTICULARLY THE ROLE PLAYED BY THE STATEWIDE GRAND JURY.
Abstract
THE RATIONALE FOR THIS NEW INSTITUTION AND ITS FEATURES ARE EXAMINED, AND QUESTIONS WHICH LEGISLATVE DRAFTSMEN SHOULD CONSIDER ARE DELINEATED. DESCRIPTIONS OF STATE (ARIZONA, COLORADO, FLORIDA, NEW JERSEY, RHODE ISLAND, AND WYOMING) EXPERIENCES WITH THE STATE GRAND JURY AND PROCEDURES FOR ITS OPERATION ARE INCLUDED.
