Abstract
SWEDISH THEFT AND BURGLARY RATES BETWEEN 1950 AND 1973 ARE USED TO ILLUSTRATE A FORECASTING MODEL BASED ON STIMULUS PRESSURE AND SOCIAL RESPONSE. EMPHASIS IS PLACED ON AGGREGATE CHANGE AS IT APPEARS IN MANY SOCIO-DEMOGRAPHIC SERIES. REFERENCES ARE INCLUDED.
