Abstract
THE INABILITY OF DATA TO ACCURATELY REFLECT THE SEVERITY OF THE PROBLEM OF CRIME AGAINST THE AGED IS DISCUSSED. A DEMOGRAPHIC ANALYSIS OF BALTIMORE'S LOW INCOME ELDERLY AND BLACK POPULATIONS IS INCLUDED WITH MAPS INDICATING AREAS OF HEAVY CONCENTRATION. A SERIES OF VIDEOTAPE TRAINING MODULES BEING DEVELOPED BY ANTIOCH COLLEGE TO BE USED IN AREAS WHERE THE SCAT (SENIOR CITIZENS AGAINST THIEVERY) PROGRAM IS TO BE PRESENTED ARE DESCRIBED. MODULE CONTENT AND PRESENTATION METHODS ARE ALSO DESCRIBED.
