Abstract
SOME GENERALIZATIONS ABOUT THE PRODUCTION OF CRIME RATES YIELDED BY THE STUDY INDICATE THAT THE COMPLAINANT'S ROLE IS APPRECIABLE IN THE CRIMINAL PROCESS IN THAT WHO HE IS AND HOW HE PRESENTS HIS CLAIM TO THE POLICE SIGNIFICANTLY AFFECTS THE LIFE CHANCES OF A CRIMINAL VIOLATOR.
