ANALYSIS OF THE NATURE, FORMS, ORGANIZATION, RATIONALE, CAUSES, AND CIRCUMSTANCES OF PHYSICAL FORCE EMPLOYED BY THE POLICE AND OTHER SOCIAL INSTITUTIONS.
Abstract
THE POTENTIAL AND ACTUAL FORCE USED BY THE POLICE IS SEEN AS SUPPORTING THE EXISTENCE AND LEGITIMACY OF THE SOCIAL SYSTEM AND THEREFORE OF THE ELITE SOCIAL GROUPS WHICH DOMINATE IT. THIS FORCE IS EMPLOYED SELECTIVELY AGAINST THE LOWER SOCIAL CLASSES WHICH ARE PERCEIVED AS DANGEROUS BY THE DOMINANT CLASS. --IN GERMAN
