Abstract
THE MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF THE COMMISSION, SUCH AS ITS INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITIES AND INVESTIGATIONS CONDUCTED FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT AND REGULATORY AGENCIES OF OTHER STATES, ARE ALSO OUTLINED. IN ADDITION, RECOMMENDATIONS ARE PRESENTED FOR BOTH PRESENT AND FUTURE ACTIONS IN THE TWO GENERAL AREAS OF ADMINISTRATIVE POLICY, PROCEDURES AND RESOURCES, AND OPERATIONS, RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS. THE APPENDIX CONTAINS ARREST PROJECTIONS FOR THE FIVE-YEAR INTERVALS BETWEEN 1970 AND 1985, AND A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANIZED CRIME LEGISLATION PROPOSED BY VARIOUS NEW MEXICO LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES.
