THREE CASE STUDIES OF ALLEGEDLY UN-PROFESSIONAL AND OVER-ZEALOUS PERFORMING POLICE OFFICERS FROM DIFFERENT TYPES OF LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES.
Abstract
ONE CASE STUDY CONCERNS A STATE NACROTICS BUREAU INVESTIGATOR WHO ALLEGEDLY PLOTTED THE ARREST OF AN ATTORNEY WHO CRITICIZED HIS TACTICS. ANOTHER IS ABOUT AN AGENT WHOSE MAIN DUTY IS TO ENTICE AND ENTRAP HOMOSEXUALS AND WHO FEARS WHAT HE CONCEPTUALIZES AS A 'HIPPIE MAFIA'. THE FINAL STORY IS ABOUT A YOUNG POLICE INFORMER WHO HAS BEEN RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ARREST OF MORE THAN 350 PERSONS.
