Abstract
THESE ADVANTAGES ARE LISTED AS BETTER UTILIZATION OF THE RADIO SYSTEM, BETTER QUERY RESPONSE TIME, GREATER SECURITY OF COMMUNICATIONS, AND BETTER UTILIZATION OF POLICEMEN'S TIME. BETTER DIRECTION AND CONTROL OF POLICEMEN AND FREEING POLICEMEN FROM ADMINISTRATIVE WORK ARE ALSO INCLUDED ON THE LIST. THE AUTHOR EMPHASIZES THE IMPORTANCE OF ADEQUATE PLANNING AND TRAINING TO INSURE A COST-EFFECTIVE SYSTEM.
