DISCUSSION OF THE MISSIONS OF THE REGULAR POLICE, CRIMINAL POLICE, BORDER GUARDS, ARMED FORCES AND THE ORGANIZATION FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE CONSTITUTION UNDER WEST GERMAN LAW IN VARIOUS TYPES OF EMERGENCIES.
Abstract
THE TYPES OF EMERGENCIES DISCUSSED INCLUDE NATURAL CATASTROPHES, PARTICULARLY SERIOUS ACCIDENTS, ATTEMPTS BY ENEMIES TO INJURE FREE AND DEMOCRATIC GOVERNMENT OR THE VERY EXISTENCE OF THE COUNTRY. OTHER POSSIBLE EMERGENCIES MENTIONED INCLUDE CIVIL WAR, SITUATIONS INVOLVING SERIOUS INTERNATIONAL TENSION, AND ARMED ATTACKS OR THREATS OF ARMED ATTACKS ON THE COUNTRY. THE APPLICABLE WEST GERMAN LAWS ARE IDENTIFIED IN EACH CASE. --IN GERMAN
