THE AUTHOR CONCLUDES THAT A FAMILY COURT, AS A SEPARATE STATEWIDE COURT, OR AS A DIVISION OF A COURT OF GENERAL TRIAL JURISDICTION CAN PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY JUSTICE IF IT HAS SOUND PHILOSOPHY, BROAD JURISDICTION AND STATUS, PROPER FUNDING, GOOD JUDGES, AND PERSONNEL ORGANIZED IN A MANNER THAT ASSURES CLEAR RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESPONSIVENESS THROUGHOUT THE STATE.
