AREAS EXPLORED IN DENMARK, INCLUDE CRIME IN GENERAL, IMMIGRATION, THE NORDIC UNION, DISCIPLINE, JUDICIAL POWERS OF POLICE, THE COPENHAGEN POLICE, PORNOGRAPHY JUVENILES, PRIVATE EMERGENCY SERVICES, AND FIREARMS. IN FRANCE THE 10TH COMMAND COURSE EXAMINED THE PHILOSOPHY OF THE FRENCH POLICE, ITS ORGANIZATION AND STRUCTURE, RECRUITMENT, CONDITIONS OF SERVICE AND TRAINING, TRAFFIC, CRIME INVESTIGATIONS AND THE COMMON MARKET. THE HOLLAND INVESTIGATION COVERED ORGANIZATION, COST, RECRUITING AND TRAINING, POLICE-PUBLIC RELATIONS, DISCIPLINE, THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM, POLICE USE OF FIREARMS, CRIME, TRAFFIC, AND WATER POLICE. IN THE VISIT TO ROME INFORMATION WAS COLLECTED ON RECRUITING AND TRAINING, PUBLIC ORDER IN ROME, THE CRIMINAL POLICE, AND TRAFFIC. THE POLICE ORGANIZATION AND EFFECTS OF MEMBERSHIP IN THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY ARE REPORTED FOR WEST GERMANY.
