REPORT DESCRIBING THE ACTIVITIES OF ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION ACT, TITLE 1 PROJECTS IN THE CALIFORNIA YOUTH AUTHORITY INSTITUTIONS, WHICH SERVE EDUCATIONALLY DISADVANTAGED JUVENILE DELINQUENTS.
Abstract
THE REPORT INCLUDES DISCUSSIONS OF THE ORGANIZATION AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PROGRAM, THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE STUDENTS SERVED AND THE STAFF THAT PROVIDE SERVICES IN VARIOUS PROJECT COMPONENTS. EVALUATION OF THE PROGRAM'S IMPACT ON STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT AND SCHOOL PERFORMANCE IS COVERED, AND RECOMMENDATIONS ARE OFFERED FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF EDUCATIONAL SERVICES PROVIDED BY YOUTH AUTHORITY, TITLE 1 PROJECTS.
