Abstract
THE GUIDELINES PRESENTED IN THIS MANUAL APPLY PRIMARILY TO RESEARCH INTERVIEWS WHICH ASSESS A SUBJECT'S BEHAVIORAL OUTPUT AND ENVIRONMENTAL INPUT AND PREDICT HOW HE OR SHE WILL BEHAVE IN THE FUTURE. THE MANUAL INCLUDES EXAMPLES OF BASIC BEHAVIORAL QUESTION AS WELL AS A SAMPLE INTERVIEW. TWO EXAMPLES OF BEHAVIORAL ASSESSMENT INSTRUMENTS ARE APPENDED: THE ENVIRONMENTAL DEPRIVATION SCALE (EDS) AND THE MALADAPTIVE BEHAVIOR RECORD (MBR). (AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED)
