Man: In the next room, I can hear a man hitting his wife or something. [sirens]
Male Police Officer: When you view yourself as a law enforcer, then you’re only addressing half your job.
Female Police Officer: We can’t undo what’s happened. But I feel that now we’re at the place where we are actually taking a holistic approach to not just getting information and using a victim, but viewing the victim as what they are—a person that‘s in a crisis situation.
Man: It’s not just a police strategy. It has to be the criminal justice strategy. It’s changing a philosophy.
