WASHINGTON POLICE CORPS HOLDS GRADUATION

 

9 Police Corps Officers to Join Police & Sheriffs’ Departments throughout State

 

Seattle, WA -- The Washington Police Corps will be graduating its second class of Police Corps officers from its 21-week law enforcement training program on Friday, February 23, 2001. The 9 Police Corps graduates will be assigned to community patrol with the Monroe Police Department, the Bellevue Police Department, the Auburn Police Department, the Thurston County Sheriff’s Department, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, the Des Moines Police Department, the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Department, the Port Townsend Police Department, and the Tacoma Police Department.

 

The graduation ceremony will take place at the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Center in Seattle. Speakers include Acting Assistant Attorney General Mary Lou Leary of the Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs.
